The unemployment rate is expected to rise to 7.2% from 7.1%. Average hourly earnings are expected to be up 3.2% from a year earlier, a steady reading. <\/p>\n
10 am ET: University of Michigan consumer sentiment for October, which is expected to see a modest improvement from last month. <\/p>\n
