Sick online trolls have sparked fury by creating AI videos of dead wrestler Chris Benoit<\/a> \u2014 18 years after he killed his wife and son in a double murder-suicide. Bizarre clips have emerged online of the muscle-bound maniac in his wrestling gear<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the clips, an emotional Benoit can be seen walking down the aisle towards the ring in AEW, a rival organisation to WWE where he was wrestling at the time of his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In another mind-bending video, the AI version of Benoit can be seen arguing in the ring with dead footy legend Diego Maradona, who tells him: “I carry a whole country on my bike… and tonight I put you on the pitch and I run straight through you.”<\/p>\n

The pair are then seen brawling in the backstage area in the deranged videos before they are seen grappling in the ring. Maradona, wearing an Argentina football kit, kicks Benoit in the head in the sick clip.<\/p>\n

Social media users branded the clips as sick, with one raging: “This should be illegal.” Another said: “Single mum with 3 kids in Michigan is going without water for a month for this video.”<\/p>\n

Another said: “What is this? Some AI joke that isn’t funny?” A fourth added: “Well that’s it lads, we have reached the end of the internet. It’s been a good run. Time to shut it all down.”<\/p>\n

Another X user said: “Who thinks it’s a good idea to use AI to bring a murderer back to life? While we’re at it, why not do AI that shows Hitler killing JFK, or Osama bin Laden shaking hands with Mohammed bin Salman? That would be just as bad as this f***ing bull s**t.”<\/p>\n

One furious fan wrote: “The man murdered his family.. doesn’t matter why, fact is he did. This AI video is disgusting.. AI videos are dystopian.”<\/p>\n

Canadian Benoit, widely considered to be one of the finest in-ring performers of all time, murdered his wife Nancy on June 22, 2007, and his seven-year-old son Daniel the next day. Then he hanged himself at his home in Fayetteville, Georgia, using a weight-machine pulley.<\/p>\n

Since then, his name has been erased from WWE history and his matches are never broadcast on the company’s official programming.<\/p>\n
