On Saturday, Sept. 27, the R&B superstar, 45, pushed a fan off stage after they crashed the set during his concert at the Glion Arena Kobe in Kobe, Japan.<\/p>\n
According to video footage shared on NE-YO’s Instagram Stories<\/a>, he was in the midst of singing his 2007 track “Because of You” when the incident occurred, per The Shade Room.<\/a><\/p>\n In the clip, the “Show Me” musician can be seen singing in a black cowboy hat, a sequin-accented blazer and leather pants when a fan in a white T-shirt dances up the stairs to the stage, turns around and holds his arms out wide in front of NE-YO.<\/p>\n The “Closer” artist then lowers his mic and pushes the fan out of the way as he continues to sing the song.<\/p>\n “This is what you DON’T do. I’m a gentleman but I WILL slap the s\u2014out of a person disrespecting my stage,” NE-YO wrote.<\/p>\n He continued: “And then keep the party going. Don’t try me. All love, til it’s not.”<\/p>\n PEOPLE has reached out to NE-YO for comment.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, NE-YO opened up about his “phenomenal” love life<\/a> with four women on\u00a0Kai Cenat’s\u00a0Mafiathon 3\u00a0stream.<\/a><\/p>\n During the conversation, he spoke about being in a polyamorous relationship with “four beautiful ladies.”<\/p>\n Arturo Holmes\/Getty<\/p>\n NE-YO in September 2025 in Atlantic City, N.J.<\/p>\n “My love life is phenomenal,\u201d he said at the time. “I\u2019m in a great space. They\u2019re actually here.”<\/p>\n NE-YO also mentioned that he is not “legally married” to four women, but they’re his “wives.”<\/p>\n He also revealed why he decided to explore polyamory, referencing\u00a0his divorce<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Crystal Renay<\/a>\u00a0after seven years in 2022, which prompted him to be completely honest.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m 45 years old,\u201d said NE-YO. \u201cAt this point in my life, everything I do is about what\u2019s best for me, what\u2019s best for my kids, what\u2019s best for my tribe.
