Tom Holland<\/a> is being hailed by fans on social media after he gently corrected a journalist who mistakenly referred to Zendaya<\/a> as his \u201cgirlfriend\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a now-viral X video<\/a> that\u2019s been making its rounds online, Tom appeared onstage at a recent press event.<\/p>\n

After an off-camera reporter told him that he \u201cI brought my daughter, and she got to meet your girlfriend\u201d, Tom delivered an adorable response. <\/p>\n

With a laugh, the Spider-Man star interjected to remind her of his upcoming nuptials to Zendaya. <\/p>\n

\u201cFianc\u00e9e,\u201d he replied candidly in the clip, which was first posted on Monday. <\/p>\n

Tom\u2019s remark appears to be the first time he\u2019s broken his silence on his engagement to Zendaya, whom he\u2019s been romantically linked to since 2021, following the news in January that the pair would be tying the knot. <\/p>\n

He reportedly popped the question<\/a> between Christmas and New Year\u2019s Eve at one of Zendaya\u2019s family homes. <\/p>\n

While the couple have remained largely hush-hush about their impending big day, the Euphoria star has been seen sporting her engagement ring on multiple occasions, including at the Golden Globes<\/a> and the Met Gala<\/a> earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Zendaya has yet to publicly address her engagement to Tom. When a Los Angeles Times reporter<\/a> asked her if she was engaged after spotting her ring at the Golden Globes, the Dune star coyly smiled, held up her ring and shrugged. <\/p>\n

Tom\u2019s famous <\/a>dad, however, confirmed the couple\u2019s engagement<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared,\u201d his dad said. \u201cHe had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out\u2026 When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Zendaya showed off<\/a> her engagement ring again on Tuesday while attending the Louis Vuitton Womenswear Spring\/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. <\/p>\n

As far as what the Marvel stars have planned for their wedding, Zendaya\u2019s longtime stylist Law Roach told E! News<\/a> in July that \u201cthe process hasn\u2019t even started yet\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cZendaya is working on so many movies. She\u2019s now filming the next iteration of \u2018Dune,\u2019 so she\u2019s away doing that. It\u2019s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time,\u201d Law added. <\/p>\n

The Challengers actor previously opened up about why she chooses to keep her relationship with her fianc\u00e9 relatively private. <\/p>\n

\u201cParts of my life, I accept, are going to be public,\u201d she told Elle Magazine<\/a> in August 2023. \u201cI can\u2019t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share.\u201d <\/p>\n

Noting that \u201cit\u2019s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist\u201d, Zendaya added: \u201cYou can\u2019t hide. That\u2019s not fun, either.
