Tyson Fury is planning to make his long-awaited return to the boxing ring in 2026, according to his promoter Frank Warren.<\/p>\n

Warren, 73, revealed that he had spoken with the former world heavyweight champion last week, confirming Fury\u2019s desire to fight again following his retirement earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The Gypsy King stepped away from professional boxing in January after suffering consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, which ended his unbeaten record and saw him lose the unified heavyweight titles. <\/p>\n

Despite those setbacks, Warren said Fury had told him \u201ccategorically\u201d that he intends to compete again next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve spoken recently and Tyson wants to come back,\u201d Warren said. \u201cHe\u2019s still got that hunger and we\u2019ll be sitting down to discuss what the comeback might look like.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fury, 37, would be returning to what Warren described as a \u201crejuvenated\u201d heavyweight division, with several rising British contenders and new champions shaping the post-Usyk landscape.<\/p>\n

While away from the sport, Fury has remained active with a string of media ventures. <\/p>\n

He starred in a Netflix series At Home with the Furys and has reportedly been filming another documentary project. <\/p>\n

Warren added that, despite not fighting this year, the Wythenshawe-born boxer has continued training and stayed in shape.<\/p>\n

In July, Fury himself hinted at a comeback, admitting how much he missed competing. \u201cI do miss it \u2014 every single day I wake up in the morning and miss it,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been away seven months and missed it every day. I\u2019m open to offers at the moment. Next year, the big GK is going to make a f*****g comeback.\u201d<\/p>\n

The heavyweight picture has evolved significantly since Fury last fought. <\/p>\n

Fury has acknowledged that re-entering such a competitive field will be a major challenge. <\/p>\n
