Whether you&#8217;re here at <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thepopverse.com\/events\/new-york-comic-con-2025\" target=\"_blank\">New York Comic Con<\/a> or anywhere in the world, you don&#8217;t have to miss out on some of the big exclusives happening this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The end of Ultimate Spider-Man, <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thepopverse.com\/comics-ultimate-spider-man-24-ending-sdcc-2025\" target=\"_blank\">announced back at San Diego Comic-Con 2025<\/a>, is just the beginning \u2014 in 2026, the Ultimate Universe is coming to an end, and Marvel Comics promises that it\u2019s not kidding around this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As revealed during Marvel\u2019s presentation as part of the Professional Day programming at New York Comic Con 2025, each of Marvel\u2019s primary Ultimate Universe comic book titles will follow the lead of Ultimate Spider-Man and end with their 24th issue, with Ultimate Black Panther ending in January 2026, Ultimate X-Men ending in February 2026, and The Ultimates ending in April 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Additionally, Ultimate Wolverine will also end with April\u2019s Ultimate Wolverine #16, and Ultimate Endgame will conclude with April\u2019s Ultimate Endgame #5. After the release of the April titles, the Ultimate Universe will be no more &#8211; at least according to Marvel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Marvel editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski told the assembled retailers at the Javits Center about the conclusion of the best-selling Ultimate line, \u201cYou think we\u2019re lying, but we\u2019re not.\u201d When teasing what it going to happen in the upcoming months as the line comes to a close, \u201cchaos will reign,\u201d he explained, saying that the Ultimate Universe and the Marvel Universe will start to align a lot more as the Ultimate line starts to wrap up. (Fans should already be paying attention to the current Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion series, which brings Miles Morales to the new Ultimate Universe, for signs of what might be to come.The final issue of the five-part series is set to be released October 22.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Since its 2024 launch, the current Ultimate line has been one of Marvel\u2019s best-selling imprints, with Ultimate Spider-Man <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thepopverse.com\/marvel-ultimate-spider-man-1-spiderman-comics-success\" target=\"_blank\">a reliable best-seller during that time<\/a>.
