Food Network has lined up more than 50 hours of holiday content after quietly cancelling three Halloween themed cooking shows <\/a>last month.<\/p>\n

The channel has revealed its bumper schedule in the run up to Christmas<\/a>, including a Guy Fieri festive special and the return of Holiday Baking Championship and Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown.<\/p>\n

Guy will front Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas, a spin on the original format of the show, per People.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This season, couples will work together for a $100,000 cash prize and an additional $50,000 prize to give to a charity of their choice.<\/p>\n

Food Network has also introduced Sweet Empire, a new series that will see 14 chefs create edible artwork with their teams for judges Jacques Torres and Yolanda Gampp.<\/p>\n

The channel is also bringing back plenty of fan favorite offerings too, including Harry Potter<\/a>: Wizards of Baking, hosted by Fred and George Weasley stars James and Oliver Phelps.<\/p>\n

This time, they will be back in the kitchen with former cast mates Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Afshan Azad (Padma Patil) and Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan). The series\u00a0returns on November 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Holiday Baking Championship is returning on November 3 with host Jesse Palmer and judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Kardea Brown.<\/p>\n

Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown will be back on screen from November 11<\/p>\n

They will task 12 bakers with holiday-themed challenges, but only one person will take home the grand prize of $25,000.<\/p>\n

In addition, World’s Sweetest Candy Shops is slated for November 2, Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown will be back on screen from November 11, and Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition returns November 17.<\/p>\n

Food Network’s bumper Christmas schedule comes after Outrageous Pumpkins, Last Bite Hotel, and Halloween Cookie Challenge were all axed last month.<\/p>\n

Halloween Cookie Challenge, hosted by Rosanna Pansino and Duff Goldman, premiered in 2022 and ran for two seasons.<\/p>\n

Outrageous Pumpkins, presented by Damaris Phillips, ran for five seasons and saw expert pumpkin carvers compete for the title of Outrageous Pumpkins Champion and a prize of $50,000.<\/p>\n

Last Bite Hotel was helmed by Tituss Burgess and only premiered last September.<\/p>\n

It followed eight chefs as they were tasked with cooking in a spooky, isolated hotel with only 13 ingredients, which they had to work with for the entirety of their stay.<\/p>\n

Each night, a new VIP guest checked in and challenged the chefs with demanding requests.<\/p>\n

Last Bite Hotel, hosted by Tituss Burgess, was shelved by the network in September much to the disappointment of fans\u00a0<\/p>\n

The chef who impressed the VIPs the least would be eliminated.<\/p>\n

In the end, only the most talented, strategic and resourceful chef would end their stay at the hotel $25,000 richer.<\/p>\n

Food Network launched in 1993 and is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Discovery is also the owner of HGTV, another basic cable channel that has suffered a spate of programming cancellations in recent months.<\/p>\n

Bargain Block, Married to Real Estate, Farmhouse Fixer, Izzy Does It, and Battle on the Beach were all shelved by the network this summer, alongside The Flipping El Moussas and Christina on the Coast.<\/p>\n
