It might be the end of the domestic rugby league season but there is still plenty to watch on TV with a number of international games set to air.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s just one more game of domestic rugby league and that is the Super League Grand Final<\/a>, taking place on Saturday evening at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Whilst that game marks the last bit of club rugby for months, there\u2019s actually another match kicking off less than 12 hours after the trophy lift at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The international calendar kicks off with Papua New Guinea taking on an Australian Prime Minister\u2019s XIII in a double header of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s side early on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Squads have been locked in for that already with a number of Super League players in action<\/a> but also some of the possible Ashes stars with the likes of Ethan Strange, Bradman Best and Keaon Koloamatangi named in the Australian side, as well as their Ashes squad.<\/p>\n

As for PNG, Nene Macdonald will start at full-back with Liam Horne at hooker and former Cas trio Sylvester Namo, Judah Rimbu and Nixon Putt also featuring.<\/p>\n

How to watch international rugby league on TV this off-season<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s game will kick off at 4:00 am on Sunday morning before the men\u2019s takes place at 6:00 am with both games available to watch on Sky Sports+, however, the real international action starts a week later.<\/p>\n

Saturday 18th October marks the start of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s Pacific Championship competitions with both Cook Islands teams in action as PNG women host their counterparts before the men take on Fiji.<\/p>\n

Sunday sees a New Zealand and Samoa double-header with all four of those weekend games available to watch on Sky Sports Mix.<\/p>\n

We then get some mid-week rugby league with Women\u2019s World Cup qualifying between Ireland and Nigeria and then Canada and Fiji. No coverage is confirmed yet but International Rugby League will be the place to provide an update on that.<\/p>\n

The Ashes then take centre stage as the first Test is played on Saturday 25th October at Wembley and live on BBC One as one of seven games that weekend.<\/p>\n

England will host Australia on the two following Saturday\u2019s with kick-off slated for 2:30 pm on each occasion and with every game aired on BBC One.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Pacific Championships are still playing out with a total of 12 games being played before the two finals on Sunday 9th November.<\/p>\n

In amongst all of that are more World Cup qualifiers and two wheelchair Tests between Australia and England meaning there is plenty of rugby league across the next month.<\/p>\n

Broadcast details are only confirmed so far ahead of time but Sky Sports will be the home of all Pacific Championship games, BBC One the home of the Ashes, and hopefully coverage deals are confirmed for the World Cup qualifiers and wheelchair internationals with International Rugby League<\/a> and England\u2019s social channels<\/a> the respective places for further details.<\/p>\n
