Donald Trump\u2019s MAGA supporters are freaking out after photos emerged online showing Super Bowl singer Bad Bunny<\/a> sitting during the singing of \u201cGod Bless America\u201d at a New York Yankees game.<\/p>\n

The Latino superstar, who is set to perform at next year\u2019s Super Bowl halftime show<\/a>, remained seated while the song was played during the traditional seventh-inning stretch as the New York Yankees played the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium, TMZ reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

Bad Bunny, a U.S. citizen born in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, performs mainly in Spanish and decided not to perform his world tour in the contiguous United States.<\/p>\n

Multiple MAGA figureheads and supporters have since lashed out at the Grammy Award\u2013winning artist for not standing during \u201cGod Bless America,\u201d after he had already angered the president\u2019s base with his high-profile Super Bowl LV appearance and outspoken criticism of the Trump administration\u2019s hardline immigration stance.<\/p>\n

MAGA political commentator Tomi Lahren posted<\/a> on X, \u201cBad Bunny appears to stay seated during \u2018God Bless America\u2019 at Yankee Stadium\u2026 Yeah because he has a clear disdain for America. He\u2019s an a-hole.\u201d<\/p>\n

Far-right activist Jack Posobiec shared a link to right-wing news outlet The Post Millennial, saying Bad Bunny \u201cDISRESPECTS\u201d the U.S. by sitting at the Yankees game, adding<\/a> to his 3.2 million followers, \u201cThis is the Super Bowl halftime performer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The PatriotJohn76 X account wrote<\/a>, \u201cWhy is the \u2066NFL allowing this commie to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another pro-Trump X account added<\/a>, \u201cTHIS CARTOON RABBIT IS THE BEST THE NFL HAS TO OFFER THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FOR THE HALFTIME SHOW??!! Sorry NFL, you have been DELETED! Send this rabbit back down the hole he came out of.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Republican meltdown over Bad Bunny, who mainly sings in Spanish, performing at the Super Bowl has now reached the highest levels of government.<\/p>\n

Trump lamented that he had \u201cnever heard\u201d of the singer, who is one of the most-streamed artists in the world, and called the NFL\u2019s decision to choose him as the 2026 halftime performer \u201cabsolutely ridiculous.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

House Speaker Mike Johnson called the decision a \u201cterrible\u201d one and suggested that 82-year-old country singer Lee Greenwood<\/a> would have been a better choice.<\/p>\n

The artist mocked the outrage<\/a> during his Saturday Night Live monologue, speaking in Spanish about how \u201cno one can ever erase or take away\u201d the contributions Latinos and Latinas have made to the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you didn\u2019t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn,\u201d he added in English.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In September, Bad Bunny told i-D magazine<\/a> that he left the U.S. off his massive 54-date world tour out of fear that his fans could be targeted by ICE raids.<\/p>\n
