Fulham fear losing Marco Silva in the near future amid ongoing speculation about his position and strong Nottingham Forest interest.<\/p>\n

Silva was left unsettled at Fulham<\/a> after a difficult transfer window, despite some big-money deals getting over the line later in the summer.<\/p>\n

As a result, there have been suggestions he could be prepared to leave the club when his contract expires in 2026, with multiple clubs believed to be keeping tabs on him.<\/p>\n

Football Insider exclusively revealed in August that Nottingham Forest considered Silva to replace Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a>, and he has since been linked with the role again.<\/p>\n

However, Ange Postecoglou appears to be safe in his role at Forest<\/a> as things stand, opening the door for rival clubs to swoop should Silva opt to leave Fulham.<\/p>\n

With Silva\u2019s future at Craven Cottage far from secure, a number of Saudi Pro League clubs are believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation.<\/p>\n

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast<\/a>, Silva has been a long-term target for Saudi clubs, who have been placed on alert by his situation.<\/p>\n

A number of clubs across Europe are also believed to be keeping tabs on Silva, but the lingering interest from Saudi Pro League clubs makes a move to the Middle East likely.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: \u201cMarco Silva is a top manager. He\u2019s proved that at Fulham. He\u2019s done a very good job there, but his future is a bit up in the air.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think his contract expires in the summer of 2026. So potentially he could be free come the end of the season, which will be interesting. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf Silva doesn\u2019t agree a new deal at Fulham, or Fulham are unable to sort out his long-term future, there is the possibility that maybe he could be a free agent in the summer and I\u2019m sure there\u2019ll be a number of clubs who would be interested in Silva. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been talk of interest before previously from the Saudi Pro League in Silva as well. It would be very difficult for them to do anything I think this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cFulham won\u2019t want to lose the manager there, but come next summer, who knows, with Silva being out of contract it really does open the possibility of a move away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Fulham are fearing the worst over Silva\u2019s future<\/a> and the possibility that he could be tempted away upon the expiry of his contract in West London.<\/p>\n

Door opens for Silva to leave Fulham amid Saudi interest<\/p>\n

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 4 September that Silva is not happy at Fulham<\/a> and would be open to leaving after growing frustrated with the club.<\/p>\n

Silva has left the door open for his potential departure at the end of the season, as there is now less than a year remaining on his current contract.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are interested in appointing Silva<\/a> should they decide to part ways with Postecoglou amid growing pressure on his position.<\/p>\n

Silva has also been linked with the Man United job<\/a>, although Ruben Amorim appears to be safe in his position after Sir Jim Ratcliffe lent his public backing.<\/p>\n

This comes after Paul Merson tipped Silva to quit Fulham<\/a>, suggesting he could jump at the chance to move on given the club\u2019s apparent lack of ambition.<\/p>\n
