Fabrizio Romano has provided a full deep dive into the situation surrounding Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United amid the ongoing transfer interest from Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes was linked with Al Hilal<\/a> in the summer and the Saudi Pro League side were ready to table a lucrative deal to land the Manchester United captain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Al Hilal\u2019s transfer advance for Fernandes<\/a> was rejected by the 31-year-old United<\/a> midfielder and he opted to remain at Old Trafford<\/a> for the current season.<\/p>\n

Fernandes<\/a> has retained the captain\u2019s armband under Ruben Amorim<\/a> and remains a deeply influential figure in the United first-team<\/a> squad at the Premier League club.<\/p>\n

The Portugal international is widely seen as one of the best signings that the Red Devils have made in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson<\/a> era at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Despite their failed bid to land the Manchester United star in the summer, Bruno Fernandes has been subject to Saudi Arabia<\/a> speculation once again this week.<\/p>\n

Fernandes inked a new contract with United<\/a> in 2024 and the Portugal and Red Devils midfielder\u2019s current deal with the Premier League club will now expire in 2027.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano<\/a> has insisted that Saudi Arabia have had a long-term interest in signing Fernandes while he has been at United.<\/p>\n

He added that Saudi Arabia have been \u201cinsisting and pushing\u201d for the transfer and they are \u201cready to offer\u201d Fernandes a \u201ccrazy salary\u201d when he does leave United.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, from Saudi, they wanted Bruno three years ago, two years ago, one year ago when he extended his contract at Man United \u2013 [a] new deal \u2013 and this summer,\u201d Romano explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, [a] long time. It\u2019s [been] three years that from Saudi they keep insisting and pushing for Bruno.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey love Bruno, so if [at] any moment Bruno [does] decide to open the doors to Saudi, they will be ready to offer him a crazy salary and bring him to [the] Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut at the moment, I can guarantee that Bruno has decided nothing about that. Bruno has committed to zero contracts with Saudis or anyone else.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano on where Bruno Fernandes stands right now at Man Utd amid the transfer interest from Saudi Arabia<\/p>\n

Romano shut down the recent speculation that Fernandes has already made an agreement that would see him leave the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old Italian reporter explained that United midfielder Fernandes is committed to the project at the Premier League club under Ruben Amorim.<\/p>\n

\u201cFull focus on Man United,\u201d Romano continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cFull focus on making history at United. Full focus on helping Man United in this moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThen, in the future, we will see. But at the moment, I have to deny that Bruno has already agreed [to] something.<\/p>\n

\u201cInterest from Saudi remains, but we will see step by step what Bruno in the future will decide to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe present is very clear. Full focus on Man United.\u201d<\/p>\n
