\n It\u2019s an important topic that Maynard feels strongly about, speaking on the approach which the football club takes in offering support to the players, should they need it.\n<\/p>\n
\n Maynard told the Press: \u201cWe\u2019re always talking to the lads, and if there are issues, then we will deal with it.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe can point them in the right direction to see the right people if they do need help, it\u2019s something that I\u2019m massive on as a manager.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIf the lads are mentally in the right place, then they will perform week in, week out.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIf they\u2019re not, then they\u2019re not going to perform to that level.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s down to us as a whole management team to make sure that we kind of understand our lads with what makes them tick, what makes them perform.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThe red flags do flag up when you note that their character changes, or with changes in their lives.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s down to us to help them along the way with that, it\u2019s beneficial to all of us.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
