In Visakhapatnam, Australia skipper Alyssa Healy won the toss and put the tournament hosts in to bat. India openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal both struck half-centuries, as Mandhana became the first batter to score 1,000 runs in a calendar year in women’s ODIs. The pair put on 155 for the first wicket, but there was a slight wobble as they lost four wickets for 85 runs. In the end, Jemimah Rodrigues (33) and Richa Ghosh (32) ensured they got to 330.<\/p>\n

Healy batted on with Ellyse Perry, before the latter had to retire hurt.
