ModNation Racers<\/a> was a scrappy but outrageously popular kart racer on the PS3.<\/p>\n

The game \u2013 part of Sony\u2019s big \u201cplay, create, share\u201d push at the time \u2013 allowed fans to design their own characters, courses, and karts. It was actually originally developed by United Front Games, the Canadian studio behind Sleeping Dogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But its servers were taken offline in 2018, rendering the release pretty pointless without many of its key features supported.<\/p>\n

Now industrious fans have found a way to get the title working as intended again, utilising private servers. The feedback on Reddit<\/a> has been impressive, with lobbies fairly full of returning fans.<\/p>\n

All you need to do to participate is set your PS3\u2019s primary DNS to 45.32.179.33. You can find out more information and instructions through here<\/a>. You will, obviously, need an original copy of the game to play.<\/p>\n
