Curtis Jones’ partner has celebrated a special family update to mark her daughter’s first birthday. Saffie Khan and the Liverpool FC <\/a>midfielder welcomed their first child into the world on this day last year.<\/p>\n

The two are the proud parents of baby daughter Giselle and regularly share updates from their happy family life on Instagram<\/a>. Saffie has taken to social to share some of the family celebrating the special day. She captioned the post: “Happy 1st birthday Giselle.<\/p>\n

“A whole year of you. You\u2019ve completely changed our lives and filled them with so much happiness. We are so proud to be your mummy & daddy and we love you more than anything the happiest, funniest girl.”<\/a><\/p>\n

People took to the comments to wish the happy family well on Giselle’s first birthday. Lilly Gerrard, who welcomed her first child into the world this year, said: “Happy birthday beautiful girl. “<\/p>\n

Djibril Ciss\u00e9’s ex-wife Jude said: “How is she 1 already.” Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, who is close friends with Jones and Saffie, shared a heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Saffie announced the birth of their baby girl<\/a> on October 15 last year. In a joint Instagram post from her and Jones, the couple said: \u201cGiselle Delilah Jones, 13.10.24. You are our entire world.\u201d This was accompanied by a series of pictures of the couple and their new baby daughter.<\/p>\n

Jones put in a superb performance in the first game after her birth as he scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Chelsea. He also won the penalty converted by Mohamed Salah, in addition to scoring the winning goal in the game at Anfield<\/a> last season.<\/p>\n

After Jones scored the winning goal, he celebrated by sticking his thumb in his mouth, referencing the birth of his daughter.<\/p>\n

Back at home, Saffie was happily watching on with Giselle.<\/p>\n

She shared a clip of Jones goal and him celebrating on her Instagram story and said: \u201cA goal for Giselle.\u201d She also shared a picture of Curtis holding their daughter when he returned home from Anfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n
