Whoa! The Pard Design Impervia gravel e-bike might just be the craziest looking design you\u2019ve seen for a while. Made from either CNC-milled 6082 aluminium or carbon \u2013 you choose \u2013 it\u2019s powered by a Mahle M40 system, and the configuration you see here will set you back a tidy \u20ac15,700 (around \u00a313,600).<\/p>\n

Oh, alright. It\u2019s not just a bike, then?<\/p>\n

\u201cImpervia is more than a bicycle: it is a moving sculpture, shaped from CNC-milled aluminium, where geometric rigour meets fluid lines, standing as a true work of design.\u201d<\/p>\n

That’s told us. There\u2019s certainly a whole lot going on here. You can make up your own mind on the artistic side of things; what do you actually get?<\/p>\n

As mentioned, the frame can be made from 6082 aluminium. If you go for this version, you\u2019re looking at a total bike weight of about 18kg. If you\u2019d rather have a carbon frame, the complete bike weight is said to be around 15kg.<\/p>\n

The Mahle M40 motor<\/a>\u00a0delivers 105 Nm of torque and 850 watts of peak power, while weighing in at 2.5kg.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt responds instantly to pedal input, even during sudden cadence changes, ensuring a seamless and confident ride,\u201d says Pard Design. \u201cAdvanced features such as Motor Dynamic Overrun and Hill Brake enhance traction and safety on steep gradients and technical terrain.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bike pictured here has a Cane Creek Invert SL fork<\/a>\u00a0up front, a RockShox Reverb seatpost<\/a>,\u00a0and BCA disc brakes. You can choose between SRAM Red and Force gearing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans of standing out from the crowd will be pleased to know that no two Pard Design bicycles are ever identical.<\/p>\n
