Focus Features will distribute \u201cThe Uprising\u201d domestically. The cast also includes Jonny Lee Miller and Woody Norman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGarfield will star as the leader of a dramatic rebellion against King Richard II. The uprising took place in the aftermath of the Black Death, as the king was levying higher taxes to fund the Hundred Years\u2019 War.  Katherine Waterston was previously announced as joining the cast as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBell\u2019s credits include \u201cAll Of Us Strangers\u201d and \u201cUndertow.\u201d Jarvis starred in the streaming sensation, \u201cShogun.\u201d McKenzie appeared in \u201cJojo Rabbit\u201d and \u201cLast Night in Soho.\u201d Miller\u2019s work includes \u201cElementary\u201d and \u201cTrainspotting.\u201d Norman\u2019s IMDB includes \u201cSukkwan Island\u201d and \u201cC\u2019mon C\u2019mon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tJason Blum is producing through Blumhouse, alongside Gregory Goodman, Joanna Kaye and Greengrass. Lars Sylvest will also produce through Thank You Pictures and Joe Neurauter will produce through Supernix.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGreengrass\u2019 most recent project, \u201cThe Lost Bus,\u201d starred Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera. It debuted theatrically before it was shown on Apple TV. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBell is repped by Nick Frenkel at 3 Arts, Andrew Kurland, Andrew Tsoules and Jimmy Darmody at CAA. Robert Offer and Shelby Weiser at Sloane, Offer, Weber &amp; Dern. Jarvis is repped by The Artists Partnership, UTA, Yorn, Levine &amp; Barnes and Telescope Agency.
