The WeightWorld Vibration Plate Exercise Machine<\/a> is designed to engage all your muscles for a short workout that can be done in front of the TV, making it a smaller and easier alternative to the likes of a home treadmill or exercise bike. Priced at \u00a389.99, the brand claims that just 10 minutes on this vibration pad provides similar benefits to an hour of jogging or cycling, making it ideal for households who want to improve their fitness but are pressed for spare time.<\/p>\n

But what does a vibration plate actually do, and does it really have health benefits? According to Healthline<\/a>, they may help to improve strength, balance and bone density, as well as relieving chronic pain, boosting brain health, and contributing to weight loss by sending vibrations that cause your muscles to contract and relax, although the experts have noted that “more research is needed” to prove these benefits.<\/p>\n

The Royal Osteoporosis Society<\/a> also says of vibration therapy: “These vibrations work in the same way as exercise where the muscles pull on bones. This gives bones work to do which helps to keep them strong.” However, it also adds that research has not proven that vibration therapy makes bones less likely to break.<\/p>\n

With more than 2,700 reviews from Amazon shoppers, the WeightWorld Vibration Plate<\/a> has earned an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars, with many saying that they had seen results from using it from weight loss to more toned muscles.
