For Valentin Vacherot, things are about to get very exciting on the ATP Tour after the biggest win of his tennis life. <\/p>\n

After winning the Shanghai Masters<\/a>, the Monegasque is now up to number 40 in the world and will gain automatic entry to all of the Grand Slam events and ATP 1000 tournaments next year. <\/p>\n

Andy Roddick hailed Vacherot<\/a> after his epic win in Shanghai, with the 26-year-old defeating his cousin, Arthur Rinderknech, in the final to claim the title. <\/p>\n

Vacherot was watched by Roger Federer<\/a> in the final, and that moment in itself will live long in the memory. <\/p>\n

Rinderknech was full of praise for Vacherot<\/a> after he was beaten by his cousin and now, Vacherot can look forward to playing better opponents on the ATP<\/a> Tour more often than not. <\/p>\n

Every tournament now wants a piece of Vacherot, and he\u2019s been handed a wildcard entry into the ATP 500 events in Basel later this month. <\/p>\n

Interestingly, Rinderknech<\/a> has chosen to withdraw from the competition on this occasion, and as a result, a rematch from the Shanghai Masters won\u2019t be on the cards. <\/p>\n

The tournament takes place in Basel, Switzerland, and will see Vacherot get the chance to test himself against some strong opposition once again. <\/p>\n

Taylor Fritz<\/a>, Ben Shelton<\/a>, Holger Rune<\/a>, Casper Ruud<\/a> and Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a> are all among the 32 players who will take part in the event this year. <\/p>\n

Stan Wawrinka is one of the players to have received a wildcard, along with Vacherot, with Swiss prospect Henry Bernet also receiving one. <\/p>\n

Who won last year\u2019s Swiss Indoors Basel?<\/p>\n

Giovanni Mpetship Perricard is the reigning champion, having beaten Shelton in the final last year, but he won\u2019t be seeded for his title defence. <\/p>\n

The big-serving French player is desperately striving for consistency, and his huge serves are also a constant weapon on the indoor swing. <\/p>\n

How much will Vacherot receive for entering the Swiss Indoors Basel event?<\/p>\n

The financial rewards for Vacherot are going to be magnificent on the back of his win in Shanghai. <\/p>\n

The champion will take home a cool \u20ac471,825, with the beaten finalist pocketing \u20ac253,875 for a run to the final. <\/p>\n
