I think that\u2019s just ridiculous. And he\u2019s talking about stakeholders saying, \u2018No, we don\u2019t expect that would be given\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, why support it, then? Why support and say, yes, that should be given? Now, it was John Beaton who was the ref and Matthew McDermid, who was the VAR.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m really sorry. I would never accept that as a penalty. And I don\u2019t think any team in the country and in the world would accept that as a penalty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steve Conroy\u2019s view was that the decision to give Celtic the penalty was \u2018shocking\u2019 as he severely criticises Collum for his apparent contradictory comments.<\/p>\n
Conroy continued, \u201cHe is a contradiction. A contradiction in himself to say that that is justifiable in law. What law justifies that?<\/p>\n

\u201cSo going by what he has said there, that if that is a justifiable penalty kick, and I still cannot believe that they\u2019re saying that that is a penalty kick.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only way that that defender can avoid giving away a penalty,and it goes for all these defensive colleagues, is that you run about with your hands in your pockets.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no alternative. It\u2019s a shocking decision.\u201d<\/p>\n
