British architectural photographer Marc Goodwin<\/a> has documented the interiors of 14 architecture workspaces across Belgium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Highlighting studios from across the country, the collection is the latest in an ongoing series by Goodwin, the founder of photography studio Archmospheres<\/a>, in which he documents architecture offices worldwide.<\/p>\n

Among the studios featured in this latest edition are Antwerp-based Studio Okami<\/a>, Ghent-based Oyo<\/a> and Brussels-based Brut Architecture and Urban Design<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Goodwin, the collection revealed a noticeable contrast in atmosphere between architecture studios in Belgium’s capital, Brussels, and the rest of the country.<\/p>\n

“I was struck by the sharp contrast between Brussels and the rest of the country \u2013 both in atmosphere and vibes,” he told Dezeen.<\/p>\n

Other trends noted by Goodwin include a “global shift” in the use of an adaptive reuse approach, which includes these Belgian studios along with those documented in previous series in Portugal<\/a> and Taiwan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The last series was in Portugal, which of course has a very different context and character,” Goodwin said.<\/p>\n

“Yet there’s a strong connection: everywhere I go, I see studios embracing adaptive reuse and transformation.”<\/p>\n

“That global shift is one of the most inspiring and encouraging things to witness,” he added.<\/p>\n
