Folks who\u2019ve recently bought the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, which launched only a few months ago, are running into a nagging issue where fog builds up inside the camera lens. This causes photos and videos to appear blurry and washed out. It\u2019s happening right out of the box for many, and the complaints are adding up across social media and forums. Users say it kicks in during normal use, like snapping a few test shots, and it clears up eventually, but often comes back.<\/p>\n

Take, for example, the recent complaints on X. Shreekanta Jena posted<\/a> on October 13 about his phone from Flipkart fogging up within five or six hours of delivery on September 30. Manish Mandaviya had a similar story<\/a> on September 30, with the fog appearing that fast on his September 25 purchase.<\/p>\n

A tech reviewer, GADGETS BANGLA, shared<\/a> on October 8 how their two-day-old device had the same problem, and they got nowhere with the service center or Flipkart on a replacement. Sauravtumde<\/a> even threatened consumer court action on September 27 after seeing reviews full of fog complaints before his order arrived.<\/p>\n

Over on Motorola\u2019s forums, the discussion threads are filling up too. Punitbro<\/a> started one on July 21, 2025, saying his July 19 buy fogged in minutes, and he\u2019d seen others with the same defect. RG023<\/a> joined the next day, describing recurring fog on his Flipkart-delivered phone and troubles finding a working service center in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n

In August, rohanujagare<\/a> reported fog during setup on his open-box Flipkart order, with no return possible. Ompawar<\/a> got so upset about the fog ruining his Ganpati celebrations in late August that he demanded a refund outright. Come October, Parag099<\/a> and Manasdas022<\/a> added their experiences of quick fog and overheating, rejecting repairs for new phones. Motorola reps keep replying, asking for details and service visits, but users feel like they\u2019re getting the runaround.<\/p>\n

Reddit\u2019s r\/motorola subreddit also has its share of stories. Capn__Deadpool<\/a> wrote two months ago about the fog on his day-old phone, and spotting ten others at the service center with it.<\/p>\n

National_Trifle4732<\/a> posted 16 days ago, waiting it out before pushing Flipkart for a replacement. People suggest tricks like recording long videos to heat the phone or pulling the SIM tray, but most want full swaps. And I don\u2019t blame them.<\/p>\n

Even on Facebook, in groups like FRB Trolls, Prasad Anil Kamble posted<\/a> in August about fog on his unit, which he purchased from the official site less than a day old, asking for help reaching Motorola.<\/p>\n

All these accounts make it obvious this isn\u2019t just bad luck for a few people; it\u2019s a pattern affecting enough units to look like a build quality slip. Adding weight to the potential quality control issue is a report from another user who reported<\/a> dust getting in the lens.<\/p>\n

Most reports I came across are from India, with a handful from Bangladesh. I didn\u2019t spot any from elsewhere, but the concentration there might be tied to humidity conditions.<\/p>\n

That said, we\u2019ve seen similar complaints from users with Samsung devices like the Galaxy Note 20<\/a>, S23 Ultra<\/a>, and S20<\/a> in the past. There were reports about the same on Vivo phones like the X200 series<\/a> and iQOO Neo 10R<\/a>. Then, there was a lot of chatter about the camera fog on the Xiaomi 14<\/a>. So yeah, it\u2019s an industry thing, but the Edge 60 Pro has too many reports to ignore.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re thinking about grabbing one, give that camera a good workout early on. Motorola\u2019s warranty pushes for service checks, but plenty of buyers are holding out for replacements or refunds to skip the repair drama.
