Stefanos Tsitsipas spent a very short amount of time on court in his debut appearance at the Six Kings Slam.<\/p>\n

Tsitsipas was announced as Jack Draper\u2019s replacement for the Six Kings Slam<\/a> after the Briton withdrew due to an ongoing arm injury.<\/p>\n

There were also some concerns about Tsitsipas, who pulled out of the Shanghai Masters due to a \u2018physical issue\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, after confirming his participation for the exhibition event, Tsitsipas had a chance to make a statement<\/a> against Jannik Sinner<\/a> after a disappointing 2025 season.<\/p>\n

Despite the odds being stacked against Tsitsipas<\/a>, who is currently the world number 27, he had actually won his most recent ATP<\/a> match against Sinner.<\/p>\n

However, Tsitsipas was unable to make any sort of statement against Sinner and instead suffered a one-sided defeat to the world number two.<\/p>\n

Sinner beat Tsitsipas, 6-2 6-3, in just 76 minutes and the scoreline could have been even worse for the Greek after he trailed 5-0 in the first set.<\/p>\n

Admitting that he was completely outplayed in Riyadh, Tsitsipas posted a message to his social media shortly after being beaten by Sinner.<\/p>\n

Tsitsipas wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), \u201cTried my best and enjoyed myself out there tonight; Jannik was simply stellar. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms, Riyadh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Sinner claiming money was not his motivation for playing the Six Kings Slam<\/a> last year, it is certainly one of the biggest factors in enticing the big names to play the exhibition event.<\/p>\n

All players receive a huge $1.5million just for playing one match at the event, which is even less than Tsitsipas earned for reaching the Australian Open<\/a> final in 2023.<\/p>\n

In a breakdown of the prize money Tsitsipas earned for the 76 minutes he spent on court, the Greek was gaining over $19,000 per minute and over $300 for every second.<\/p>\n
