Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> may be the purveyor of woo-woo white-lady wellness and jade vagina eggs, but she is, famously<\/a>, not an expert in the realm of pop culture. While promoting her upcoming A24 film, Marty Supreme, the Goop founder sat down for a yap with British Vogue, where she revealed another major cultural milestone that managed to pass her by. Apparently, she didn\u2019t know her co-star Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> was dating Kylie Jenner<\/a> when they shot the movie together.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met him at the costume test,\u201d Paltrow said of Chalamet. \u201cI was asking him questions, trying to get to know him.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if the \u201crise of Timmy\u201d passed her by, Paltrow laughed. \u201cI know! Everyone makes fun of me because I don\u2019t know anything. I was like, \u2018Do you have a girlfriend?\u2019 And he was like, \u2018I do,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cHe mentioned that she had kids, and I was like, \u2018That\u2019s so cool. I really love to hear that [from] a young man like you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids, but it\u2019s a cool choice to go out with a young woman who has two kids,\u201d she added of Chalamet\u2019s mystery girlfriend. \u201cI respect it. I think it\u2019s kind of punk rock. But my point is I didn\u2019t know [it was] Kylie Jenner.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear when Paltrow actually found out who the \u201cwoman with kids\u201d was \u2014 Marty Supreme filmed in late 2024, which would put us sometime after the Wonka press tour<\/a> but before the Knicks\u2019 playoff run<\/a>. Can you believe she missed them kissing at the Golden Globes? I bet she would have been really charmed<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n
