{"id":203936,"date":"2025-10-16T10:05:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T10:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/203936\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T10:05:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T10:05:10","slug":"study-45-of-u-s-internet-households-now-watch-fast-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/203936\/","title":{"rendered":"Study: 45% of U.S. Internet Households Now Watch FAST Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"a5ed54dd-41dd-4c4e-94ff-051203d32137\"><a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvtechnology.com\/tag\/parks-associates\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.tvtechnology.com\/tag\/parks-associates\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Parks Associates<\/a> has released new data showing that nearly half (45%) of U.S. internet homes watch <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvtechnology.com\/news\/fast-talk-a-step-toward-increasing-revenue-and-viewer-engagement\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.tvtechnology.com\/news\/fast-talk-a-step-toward-increasing-revenue-and-viewer-engagement\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) services<\/a> and 89% of U.S. internet households subscribe to at least one streaming service.<\/p>\n<p>Parks reported that 59% of subscriptions across the eight leading SAVOD (subscription ad-based video-on-demand) services are subscriptions to the basic tier with ads.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" href=\"\" data-url=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"a5ed54dd-41dd-4c4e-94ff-051203d32137-2\">The firm released the data in the run-up to the eighth annual \u201cFuture of Video: Business of Streaming\u201d event on Nov. 18-20 in Marina del Rey, Calif., which will feature keynote speakers from Charter Communications, Tubi, Verizon Business, Wurl, FloSports and Needham &amp; Co.
