This is the sum of three channels of impact. Some \u00a31.7 billion was contributed directly by TCS. A further \u00a3350 million was contributed by the company\u2019s procurement spending, and the subsequent economic activity that this triggered through TCS\u2019s supply chain\u2014its indirect impact. Finally, the payment of wages by TCS and the firms in its supply chain supported a further \u00a31.2 billion contribution to UK GDP\u2014its induced impact. <\/p>\n<p>The company was also estimated to have supported almost 42,700 jobs across the UK economy in FY2024. TCS directly employed approximately 22,200 people.
