Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui&#8217;s social media posts were the exception&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-orbital-observation\" href=\"\" data-url=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/>Orbital observation<\/p>\n<p id=\"b0dd9904-6721-4c88-9bab-65727755b6e9\">&#8220;Isn&#8217;t this one of the top five stunning views among all the photos taken from the &#8216;Kibo&#8217; window? Self-praise here&#8230;&#8221; <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Astro_Kimiya\/status\/1978206202619207694\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" data-url=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Astro_Kimiya\/status\/1978206202619207694\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\">wrote<\/a> Kimiya Yui, an Expedition 73 flight engineer, with a laugh from on board the International Space Station.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" href=\"\" data-url=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"b0dd9904-6721-4c88-9bab-65727755b6e9-1\">&#8220;The ISS took on a different posture than usual, so the view from the window changed as well,&#8221; explained Yui.<\/p>\n<p>You may like<\/p>\n<p>That post actually features two shots. In both, a band of our galaxy, the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/19915-milky-way-galaxy.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/19915-milky-way-galaxy.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Milky Way<\/a>, is seen above Earth&#8217;s horizon, with the space station&#8217;s solar arrays and the Kibo exposed facility in the foreground. Liftoff is targeted for Monday (Oct. 20).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m waiting for you!
