Albon suffered three consecutive retirements between Spain and Austria, before ending the drought with P8 at Silverstone.<\/p>\n The Thai driver is determined to guide the Grove outfit to success, with excitement building around the team for the 2026 F1 regulations<\/a>. Williams were the first to commit to developing next season\u2019s car, with James Vowles constantly talking up how strong his driver line-up is.<\/p>\n Albon and Sainz give the team a strong foundation to build on in 2026, but given the former\u2019s results this season, it would not be a surprise if some teams in the paddock were potentially looking at him for the future.<\/p>\n That is precisely what journalist Tom Clarkson asked Albon on the Beyond The Grid podcast. While he would not give away the exact details, he expressed that he is committed to the team\u2019s project: \u201cI can\u2019t say that either. I love the story of Williams, I think we\u2019re definitely in the right position.<\/p>\n I\u2019m not looking around. I\u2019m convinced in the project, I love being here and I think James and the board are doing a fantastic job.<\/p>\n \u201cI do mean that, and I think, looking at the previous results, there\u2019s no reason why I need to look around.
