Bradford Bulls are back in Super League but one of their key playmakers won\u2019t be and he\u2019s penned a heartfelt statement to confirm that.<\/p>\n

The Bulls made a huge jump in the IMG gradings<\/a>, rising from 16th to 10th and gaining 2.66 points to earn their spot in Super League for 2026.<\/p>\n

Kurt Haggerty will now lead the club into 2026 and he\u2019s admitted to having a huge task on his hands to assemble a Super League-ready squad<\/a>, and it\u2019s now confirmed he\u2019ll be seeking a playmaker.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because Jordan Lilley has announced his departure after eight years with the Odsal club, taking to social media to confirm his exit.<\/p>\n

Lilley was part of the Bradford side to earn promotion from League One in 2018 and he\u2019s been a consistent performer since then, showcasing his ability in his natural position in the halves but also more recently at hooker.<\/p>\n

From 2023 through 2025, he\u2019s been a mainstay in the side having made 96 appearances but the 29-year-old\u2019s journey now comes to an end.<\/p>\n

Jordan Lilley bids farewell to Bradford Bulls<\/p>\n

Posting on his Instagram, Lilley confirmed that his time with the West Yorkshire club had come to an end.<\/p>\n

The playmaker said: \u201cProud as anything to be able to play a small part in this great club getting back where it belongs.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately that\u2019s where my journey ends. 8 long years and unbelievable memories that I\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to every player and staff member Ive worked with over the years. And lastly thank you to all the fans who sung my song week in week out and made me feel at home since the day I walked through the door.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s now time for me, my boys and step daughter to sit back and be fans from the stands now.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also posted a short message on X as well, stating: \u201cDon\u2019t be sad it\u2019s over, be happy it happened. Forever grateful. Thank you Bradford Bulls.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear what\u2019s next for Lilley or for the Bulls with Bradford expected to make a host of new signings in the coming weeks as they prepare for life back in Super League.<\/p>\n
