Tensions rise in EastEnders next week as Billy Mitchell grows increasingly concerned about Johnny Carter’s growing bond with Lexi, warning Callum to put a stop to it before things go too far…

In upcoming scenes, viewers will see Johnny Carter continue his efforts to win over the Mitchells, especially Lexi, as he attempts to become more involved in her life. Johnny’s generous gestures include buying gifts for Lexi, but not everyone is pleased about it.

Billy, who has always been fiercely protective of Lexi, doesn’t take kindly to Johnny’s sudden involvement. He grows suspicious of Johnny’s motives and believes the attention is more about making an impression than building a genuine relationship with Lexi.

Billy confronts Callum

With his concerns mounting, Billy confronts Callum, who is both Lexi’s guardian and Johnny’s close friend. Billy makes it clear that he’s uncomfortable with how quickly Johnny is trying to ingratiate himself and warns Callum to put a stop to it.

Callum is caught in the middle. On one hand, he wants to maintain peace and allow Lexi to have positive role models in her life. On the other hand, Billy’s warning raises questions about boundaries and whether Johnny is overstepping.

Johnny offers Lexi a big treat

Later in the week, Johnny goes a step further and offers to take Lexi to a concert, something that clearly excites her. Lexi is thrilled by the idea, and her happiness gives Callum pause.

While Callum initially considers putting a stop to the outing, likely in response to Billy’s earlier warning, he also sees how much Lexi lights up at the opportunity. Now conflicted, Callum is left to weigh what’s best for Lexi while balancing the growing tension within the family.

A strain on Johnny and Callum?

The storyline hints at a growing complication in Johnny and Callum’s dynamic. Since Johnny returned to Walford, the pair have been growing closer, and fans have speculated about the nature of their bond.

Whether this conflict over Lexi deepens that connection or causes a rift between them, remains to be seen. Johnny’s eagerness to support Lexi could be coming from a genuine place, or might point to deeper feelings of wanting to rebuild family ties and become a more central figure in her life.

What’s next?

With Lexi’s well-being at the heart of the story, Callum faces a difficult decision: risk upsetting Billy by allowing Johnny more access to Lexi, or risk disappointing Lexi by stepping in.

As the Mitchell family continues to navigate grief, tension, and shifting loyalties, this storyline adds further pressure to already delicate relationships.

Will Callum side with Billy’s protective instincts, or follow his own judgement when it comes to Johnny? And how will Johnny respond if Callum pushes back?

Arrow Arrow Arrow!["Johnny]("https://www.newsbeep.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/531805-c66d.jpg")
