Ben Whittaker is set to fight Benjamin Gavazi next month.<\/p>\n

In Whittaker’s first fight after penning a deal<\/a> with Eddie Hearn<\/a>‘s Matchroom Boxing, he will meet Gavazi on November 29.<\/p>\n

Last time he was in the ring, Whittaker claimed his revenge over bitter rival<\/a> Liam Cameron.<\/p>\n

After the pair’s first clash ended controversially<\/a>, they ran the score back in April and ‘The Surgeon’ returned to winning ways.<\/p>\n

Now, the 2020 Olympic silver medalist is gearing up to face Gavazi.<\/p>\n

The German lost his debut in 2018, but has since been on an impressive 19-fight win streak.<\/p>\n

Whittaker is an overwhelming favourite to get the job done, but will be hoping to make a statement and avoid any slip-up as he pushes towards a busy 2026.<\/p>\n

The pair are going head-to-head at the top of the card at the\u00a0bp pulse LIVE arena on home territory for Whittaker in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

Their clash is set for Saturday, November 29.<\/p>\n

It is being held at the bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

Doors are scheduled to open at 6pm on the night ahead of the undercard, with the main event ring walks expected around 10pm.<\/p>\n

The action will be broadcasted by DAZN throughout the night.<\/p>\n

At the launch press conference for the clash, Whittaker said: “[Gavazi is going to be a tough opponent. He is coming to win, but that is what we want.<\/p>\n

“When they come to win, they’re easier to beat. <\/p>\n

“Last time [I fought] I was the underdog and nobody believed in me, and now I am the underdog and I am ready to shock the boxing world. To show what kind of fighter I am.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think about [future opportunities] too much, I am focused on this fight. I know that when I win this fight my life will change, but now I am focused on November 29.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “I am happy, I am ready, I am in shape and I can’t wait. <\/p>\n
