The ATP and WTA Finals are rapidly approaching, with the entire fields yet to be confirmed for both events.<\/p>\n

The ATP Finals<\/a> return to Turin next month, for which only Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have qualified at this stage.<\/p>\n

Sinner won the ATP<\/a> Finals in 2024, defeating Taylor Fritz in the final after losing the 2023 final to Novak Djokovic.<\/p>\n

In contrast, six women have already qualified for the WTA Finals<\/a> this year, which take place in Riyadh next month.<\/p>\n

Defending champion Coco Gauff is in the WTA<\/a> field, alongside Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Amanda Anisimova, Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula.<\/p>\n

The two upcoming tournaments have now been compared on Tennis Channel, where Roger Federer\u2019s former coach Paul Annacone<\/a> was asked which finals he thinks will have the more exciting field.<\/p>\n

He replied: \u201cThey are both electric, but when you think of four Americans all qualifying for the WTA Finals, that is huge. The fact that Amanda Anisimova is going to make her debut after a breakout season is really exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chanda Rubin says why she thinks the WTA Finals field is more exciting than the ATP Finals<\/p>\n

Also sharing her verdict on the matter was former Grand Slam doubles champion Chanda Rubin, who agreed with Annacone.<\/p>\n

She argued: \u201cThe WTA has had four different major singles winners this season in Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, and Madison Keys and all four have played impressively throughout the year as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cResurgent two-time major finalist Amanda Anisimova has played inspired tennis to qualify for her first Final.<\/p>\n

\u201cAdd to the mix Jessica Pegula who is playing clutch tennis and in good position to be part of the WTA Finals for a fourth consecutive year, and possibly Elena Rybakina or Jasmine Paolini, who are on the bubble along with teenager Mirra Andreeva.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a recipe for a fascinating finish. And let\u2019s not forget the doubles event which features a number of top singles players in the field. It\u2019s a fact that sets the WTA apart and I\u2019m looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Race to the WTA Finals is indeed in for an exciting finish, but the same can definitely be said of the ATP Race to Turin.<\/p>\n

Every player in with a chance of making the season-ending events should be desperate to take part, with a title and a huge amount of pride among the rewards on offer.<\/p>\n
