Red Bull has been summoned to see the F1 stewards in Austin, Texas, for an alleged sporting infringement following its US Grand Prix victory.<\/p>\n
The Milton Keynes-based squad scored its fifth win of the year on Sunday with Max Verstappen, who dominated the 56-lap race around the Circuit of the Americas.<\/p>\n
However, the team has been flagged by the stewards for an alleged breach of Article 12.2.1.i of the FIA International Sporting Code.<\/p>\n
This relates to the \u201cfailure to follow the instructions of the relevant officials for the safe and orderly conduct of the event\u201d.<\/p>\n
The stewards have indicated that Red Bull \u201cfailed to follow the instructions of relevant officials\u201d on the grid.<\/p>\n
While there is no clear indication as to what such a penalty could be, it is unlikely that Verstappen’s race victory is in danger, as it appears to relate to a procedural error on Red Bull’s part and nothing to do with the RB21 challenger.<\/p>\n
