Roy Jones Jr<\/a> believes Floyd Mayweather<\/a> would have had no chance of defeating one of the legendary \u2018Four Kings\u2019 of boxing.<\/p>\n

\u2018Money\u2019 Mayweather is regarded by many as being one of the greatest fighters to have ever laced up a pair of gloves<\/a>, capturing world titles across five weight classes throughout the course of his professional career.<\/p>\n

But before Mayweather rose to prominence, the legendary quartet of Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns, who were better known as \u2018The Four Kings\u2019,<\/a> took the sport by storm during the 1980s.<\/p>\n

Facing each other on at least one occasion each during their respective careers, \u2018The Four Kings\u2019 provided boxing fans with a number of memorable battles along the way and all staked their claims for being considered four of the greatest fighters ever.<\/p>\n

Speaking on All The Smoke Fight<\/a>, Hall of Fame inductee Jones paid homage to countryman Leonard, as he claims \u2018Money\u2019 Mayweather would have come unstuck against the legendary five-weight world champion.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me, people don\u2019t give him enough credit. People always say \u2018Well Floyd would beat Sugar\u2019 no baby, Floyd is not nearly as mean as Sugar was \u2026 How? How you gonna keep him off of him? Sugar is a dog.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leonard enjoyed legacy defining victories over Duran, Hagler and Hearns during his tenure, proving himself to be arguably the best fighter of his generation.<\/p>\n
