Good morning subscribers,<\/p>\n

I woke up at 2:38 am this morning and couldn\u2019t get back to sleep. The only logical course of action was to review the 102 WorldTour riders listed on PCS<\/a> as out of contract for next season and provide updates on each one.<\/p>\n

So if you want intel on Wout Poels, Richard Carapaz, Jack Haig, Sam Welsford, Ben Swift, and dozens more riders, step right up.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddfa Michael Matthews – I heard he extended his deal in the spring, around about the Tour of the Alps, if memory serves me correctly. He had health issues, but he\u2019s been back to racing and should be announced for a one-to-two-year extension at Jayco AlUla.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddf4 Nairo Quintana – We reported that he had a contract with Movistar for 2026 months ago, and that situation hasn\u2019t changed despite reports that his future is unclear. I\u2019d assume that next season is his final year in the WorldTour, however.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9 Rui Costa – He\u2019s leaving EF Education-EasyPost and is still looking for a team. He seemed relaxed about continuing or retiring at the end of the season when we spoke to him at the European Championships.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1 Micha\u0142 Kwiatkowski – There were some iffy reports linking him with Q36.5 in August, but he\u2019s staying at Ineos Grenadiers with a three-year deal reportedly in the works.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddea Tim Wellens – All indications are that he\u2019s staying at UAE Team Emirates. In all honesty, I thought he\u2019d already re-signed.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddf3\ud83c\uddf1Wout Poels – At the weekend, I learned that he\u2019s in talks with Unibet Tietema Rockets, which would be a major coup for the Dutch team. A French team are also in the mix, apparently. He has options.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\uddea\ud83c\udde8 Richard Carapaz – The former Olympic champion was never on the market. He has a contract for 2026 with EF Education-EasyPost.<\/p>\n
