They will open their campaign on Friday, November 7, aiming to make a strong statement in the group stages.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for aggressive cricket, the format features shortened matches, rapid scoring, and high entertainment value. Each team will play two group matches before progressing to the knockout stage, with a total of 10 fixtures in the group phase.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan are tied for the most titles in the event\u2019s history, having won the trophy five times and finished as runners-up on six occasions. Their squad combines youthful energy and proven performers, featuring Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Abdul Samad, and Mohammad Shahzad alongside Afridi\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Cricket South Africa announced their squad for the competition. The Proteas have also claimed the title five times, in 1995, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, India will be led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crictracker.com\/cricket-players\/dinesh-karthik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Dinesh Karthik<\/a>, with R Ashwin also part of the squad, adding star power to an already electric lineup.
