Having started at age five with this child\u2019s older brother, they felt that even this was too late to achieve their goal, hence their search for a tutor now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">To earn \u00a3180,000, the \u201cextraordinary\u201d tutor is expected to fulfil a long list of eccentric and class-based criteria: a received pronunciation English accent; \u201creasonable\u201d music theory; an understanding of cricket, tennis, rugby, polo and rowing; the ability to foster hand-eye coordination and good manners; familiarity with early years education including Montessori and Reggio Emilia pedagogies; and first aid training.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">In comparison, an experienced nursery manager in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/uk-news\/england\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">England<\/a> can earn about \u00a335,000 a year, even without understanding polo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">But in this case the ideal candidate will have attended \u201cthe best schools and universities in England\u201d and \u201chave been raised in a socially appropriate background \u2026 educated and polished, with excellent manners and personal values\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">They must be a non-smoker. Free car parking and four weeks\u2019 annual holiday is included.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cIn time, the family hope their son will be accepted at a top-flight school such as Eton, St Paul\u2019s, Westminster or Harrow. It is important that [the] boy\u2019s education, even at the early years stage, starts to prepare him for this kind of life,\u201d the advert continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cHe should be exposed to a wide range of quintessentially British experiences to help hone his habits, outlooks, tastes and sporting preferences. There is no reason why the boy can\u2019t visit Lord\u2019s, Wimbledon and Twickenham for example.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cMuseums, art galleries and theatre visits could all be incorporated into his education, making learning a by-product of a day\u2019s rich activities.
