Chris Woakes in one of the most high-profile Aston Villa supporters in the world.<\/p>\n
The former England cricketer is a diehard fan of the Villa Park<\/a> outfit, and used to attend matches regularly before his career got in the way.<\/p>\n Unai Emery\u2019s Villa have been great lately<\/a>, and the 36-year-old will have loved watching his beloved side under the Spaniard. <\/p>\n However, he seems to be dreaming of slightly more success than simply qualifying for the Champions League<\/a>. <\/p>\n Woakes was asked whether he would rather Villa won the Premier League<\/a> or England won the upcoming Ashes series against Australia. <\/p>\n He answered in typical fashion, it was never in doubt, that he would want his beloved Villans to win the title.<\/p>\n Speaking on the Stick to Cricket podcast on 21 October, he said: \u201cWhat now? I\u2019d take Villa to win the Premier League.
