Coronation Street<\/a> star Ryan Mulvey<\/a> has sparked fears that he is set to leave the ITV<\/a> soap after referring to himself as an \u2018unemployed\u2019 actor.<\/p>\n The Brody Michaelis<\/a> star took to Tiktok<\/a> to give fans an insight into a day in his life, but his choice of title set alarm bells ringing for his followers.<\/p>\n \u2018Life of an unemployed actor,\u2019 he titled the video, before showing a series of clips including a session at the gym and him cooking.<\/p>\n The comments were understandably filled with concerned Corrie fans, asking for clarification on Brody\u2019s future.<\/p>\n \u2018Is Brody leaving then?\u2019 One fan wrote, while another questioned: \u2018Unemployed??? Please tell me Brody hasn\u2019t left!\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018Wait what? You. Leaving Corrie?\u2019 A third said, while another asked: \u2018is brody leaving?\u2019<\/p>\n Thankfully, Metro understands that Ryan is not set to exit Coronation Street. Panic over!<\/p>\n Since his arrival on the cobbles, Brody has gained himself a reputation of being a bad boy, after a stint in the STC and several more crime<\/a> sprees.<\/p>\n Most recently, he has been working for Carl Webster<\/a> (Jonathan Howard<\/a>) as part of his car theft operation<\/a>.<\/p>\n Things took a worrying turn for the teen when he was caught red-handed by James Bailey<\/a> (Jason Callender<\/a>), but fortunately Carl arrived just in time and managed to talk them out of trouble.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Brody has been involved in somewhat of a love triangle<\/a> with friend Dylan Wilson<\/a> (Liam McCheyne<\/a>), with both lads fighting for the affection of Betsy Swain<\/a> (Sydney Martin<\/a>).<\/p>\n When I chatted to the trio at the Inside Soap Awards last month, they teased some \u2018nice scenes\u2019 ahead, as well as more of that love triangle.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018[Brody and Betsy are] next door neighbours now, so that\u2019s always nice in the Street,\u2019 Ryan told me<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s nice, you have all these dramatic, big scenes, so sometimes we have a little flirty scene or a little comedy scene and it\u2019s always nice.\u2019<\/p>\n Sydney Martin was quick to add: \u2018It\u2019s a nice little fiery chemistry.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018If the spark lights, it lights and if it doesn\u2019t, it doesn\u2019t. So we\u2019ll see what happens,\u2019 Ryan continued.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Liam McCheyne teased<\/a>: \u2018There\u2019s going to be loads of drama. The relationship between Dylan and Brody, and Dylan and Betsy, that\u2019s going to be a bit of a triangle that everyone\u2019s liking. <\/p>\n \u2018Whether Dylan and Betsy will get together I don\u2019t know. Me and Syd work really well off screen.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Prior to his Coronation Street role, Ryan was a Hollyoaks<\/a> regular, playing the role of JJ Osborne.<\/p>\n He was involved in a harrowing and difficult storyline which saw JJ sexually abuse sister Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith).<\/p>\n The abuse lasted for years, before Frankie worked up the courage to tell Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and report JJ for his crime.<\/p>\n She finally got justice when JJ was sent to prison<\/a>.<\/p>\n Arrow Arrow Arrow![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/05_09_coro_brody_carl_dylan-407d.jpg\")
