Of all the unlikely Emmerdale friendships \u2013 from besties Cain Dingle<\/a> (Jeff Hordley<\/a>) and Liam Cavanagh<\/a> (Jonny McPherson<\/a>), to Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton<\/a>) and Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell<\/a>) \u2013 this is one no one saw coming.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s because one half of this duo has impregnated the other\u2019s wife. <\/a>Not the ideal groundwork for a blossoming friendship.<\/p>\n

Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb<\/a>) have notoriously always been at each other\u2019s throats, with Ross being Charity\u2019s ex and an insolent little oik to Mack. <\/p>\n

From the day Ross returned to the village as part of the fighting ring and Mack threw the fight, Ross has not been his biggest fan.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tMack, meanwhile, is in a vulnerable position after being kidnapped by John (Picture: ITV)<\/p>\n

Mack has also not been an admirer of Ross with him worming his way back into Moses\u2019 life while being a deadbeat dad.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to now, and Mack has even more reason to hate Ross, not that he knows it yet \u2013 Ross has managed to knock up Charity after sleeping with her when she and Mack had had a fight.<\/p>\n

Ross is also technically none the wiser, as Charity managed to teach herself some Photoshopping skills and edited the DNA test results to say Ross is not the father. <\/p>\n

Charity then decided not to go through with an abortion, opting instead to palm the baby off as Sarah\u2019s <\/a>(Katie Hill<\/a>).<\/p>\n

So, without even knowing it, the two men have something in common \u2013 in the not-too-distant future, they\u2019ll both end up hating Charity. <\/p>\n

But for now, the two men are showing early signs of a surprising friendship. <\/p>\n

Is it a genuine bromance, or is someone playing a game?<\/p>\n
