Turki has gutted the sport, it seemed like a good thing when he first arrived in it.<\/p>\n
We got regular GOOD *** fights, now they’re few and far between.<\/p>\n
And every single fighter is seemingly waiting to be on the cards, so basically anything in between a Riyadh show is dead…<\/p>\n

Agreed. Raskin doesn’t seem to see the irony in lamenting the “rich and powerful get[ting] their way” when in a boxing context that’s exactly what allows superstars like Canelo to avoid fights that we want to see.<\/p>\n
The current structure is broken and the established promoters circling the wagons are protecting their<\/p>\n

I am so neutral on this “UFC-Ali” controversy. Do I understand that it could be bad? Sure. Of course I do. But I have seen what boxing is and what it is becoming on it’s own and it is ugly.
