Maria Connor<\/a>\u2019s (Samia Longchambon<\/a>) latest stroll down Coronation Street is going to feel like she\u2019s in a nightmare soon, as she spots her mortal enemy Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley<\/a>) over the road.<\/p>\n Nightmare.<\/p>\n Maria and Eva\u2019s feud kicked off due to them being involved in a love triangle storyline with Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward<\/a>).<\/p>\n As part of the plot, Eva faked a pregnancy, which was exposed by Maria at her wedding with Aidan.<\/p>\n Furious that Maria had ruined everything, this led to the two characters having that iconic fight in the fountain outside the venue. <\/a><\/p>\n To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web Since then, both characters have moved on but they certainly haven\u2019t cleared the air. <\/p>\n So let\u2019s hope Weatherfield doesn\u2019t get a water fountain installed anytime soon!<\/p>\n Eva is back in town because her new partner Ben (Aaron McCusker) has bought her the pub. As she relishes in the joy of becoming the Rovers Return\u2019s next landlady, Eva fails to spot Maria across the road, who is horrified that her enemy has returned.<\/p>\n Moments later, Eva\u2019s sister Leanne Battersby<\/a> (Jane Danson<\/a>) approaches and is thrilled to have her sister back. Eva tells Leanne to get Toyah Battersby<\/a> (Georgia Taylor<\/a>) so they can all have a drink together but when Leanne gets to the Bistro, she finds Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) proposing to her sister!<\/p>\n Utterly horrified, this will lead to a massive confrontation between Toyah and Leanne in the pub. Stepping in, Eva decides to lock her siblings in the boozer and says neither of them are leaving until their differences are sorted out.<\/p>\n \t\t Ahead of Eva\u2019s return, star Cath has opened up about what to expect as her character faces Maria again.<\/a><\/p>\n \u2018I was so thrilled when Kate [Brooks, the producer] said we\u2019d be playing that out. With Maria, Kate referenced Gail and Eileen, which I just absolutely loved. She is a dog with a bone, she will lock onto things in the same way that Maria does\u2019, she said.<\/p>\n \u2018And Eva really loved Aidan, she really loved him. Although she\u2019s moved on and she loves Ben, she finds that very hard to let go of and she loves a grudge, so I think that\u2019s going to be a long-term thing. Don\u2019t let them near any water features, I think!\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Reflecting on the dynamic between Eva, Leanne and Toyah, Cath added: \u2018It\u2019s extra lovely to come back to. That dynamic, the three witches reunited, it\u2019s great. <\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s strong women, again, and when they\u2019re together, they\u2019re even stronger, they\u2019re a real force to be reckoned with, they\u2019ve got each other\u2019s backs, it\u2019s that solidarity, it\u2019s such a joy to play as an actress \u2013 the three concubines of Nick Tilsley!\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018The girls are just a dream and we\u2019ve stayed in touch.
