Carlos Alcaraz still has some big goals in the latter stages of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz has won Roland Garros<\/a> and the US Open<\/a> this year, as well as three Masters 1000 titles and three ATP<\/a> 500 tournaments.<\/p>\n

The latest of those came in Tokyo, with Alcaraz winning the Japan Open<\/a> for the first time earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz suffered a physical issue<\/a> in the Japanese capital, but he now appears to have recovered ahead of his final three tournaments this year.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz has played at the Six Kings Slam<\/a> since the Japan Open<\/a>, but the Paris Masters<\/a> is his first ATP tournament in this period.<\/p>\n

The Paris Masters is the first of three remaining tournaments for Alcaraz<\/a>, alongside the ATP Finals<\/a> and the Davis Cup<\/a> Finals, all events that are played on indoor hard courts.<\/p>\n

This part of the season has been something that Alcaraz has relatively struggled with, but he does not think that he is a bad indoor hard court player.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz was asked in his pre-tournament press conference<\/a> which of the upcoming tournaments is the most important to him, and he suggested that the Davis Cup would mean the most to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I wouldn\u2019t say I\u2019m bad playing indoors,\u201d said Alcaraz. \u201cI think other players are better than me on indoor side. It\u2019s a huge difference saying that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see myself practicing, playing matches that I can play really good tennis, but obviously there are some matches that I played against someone that they are playing much, much better in indoor than I do. So I have to be ready for that, but I think I will get the good tennis on indoor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I had to choose one between those three tournaments, you make me in trouble (smiling). To be honest, I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s big three tournaments that I have ahead. So Turin, it\u2019s a really important one for me, but obviously the Davis Cup, playing with my teammates for my country, it\u2019s a really special one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although he did not choose the final ATP 1000 tournament of the year, Alcaraz has still made some important preparations for the Paris Masters<\/a>, where he has never surpassed the quarterfinals before.<\/p>\n

As the top seed, Alcaraz will receive an automatic bye to the second round, where he will play the winner of the match between Cameron Norrie<\/a> and Sebastian Baez.<\/p>\n

Some of the big threats in his half include Taylor Fritz<\/a>, Alex de Minaur<\/a>, Casper Ruud<\/a>, Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a> and Jiri Lehecka<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jannik Sinner<\/a> and Alcaraz have played many times in 2025, and they could have another final if they both reach the championship match in Paris for the first time.<\/p>\n
