Bradford Bulls have confirmed two assistant coaches to work alongside head coach Kurt Haggerty for the club\u2019s return to Super League.<\/p>\n

The Bulls are back in Super League<\/a> for the first time in over ten years having soared up the IMG rankings to place 10th, earning themselves an automatic spot in the top flight.<\/p>\n

Not only have Bradford earned promotion to Super League, they also enter the competition with full central funding, whereas York Knights and Toulouse only receive around half of that after earning promotion through the application process.<\/p>\n

Full central funding is a massive boost for the Bulls, whose operation will go full-time in 2026 and that\u2019s already seen a number of players leave with some high quality replacements brought in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, Kurt Haggerty has confirmed his coaching staff with two men appointed as his assistant coaches ahead of the 2026 Super League campaign.<\/p>\n

Bradford Bulls coaching staff confirmed<\/p>\n

Lee Greenwood, who first joined as assistant coach in 2023 and then worked alongside Brian Noble during the 2025 campaign, has been confirmed as one of the two full-time assistants.<\/p>\n

Carl Forster, the former St Helens academy graduate who most recently coached North Wales Crusaders to the League One title, is the second coach.<\/p>\n

It means a new-look coaching staff at Odsal with Kurt Haggerty in his first role as head coach as well, having previously worked as an assistant at Salford Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Haggerty has spoken on the appointments, explaining his desire for a forwards coach and a backs coach with Forster fitting the former and Greenwood the latter.<\/p>\n

On Forster\u2019s appointment, he said: \u201cCarl\u2019s actually been coaching for a long time, even though he\u2019s a young man he\u2019s been coaching a long time and he\u2019s held in very high regard.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s done a fantastic job in North Wales, I know he\u2019s coached previously at teams like Whitehaven and Rochdale so he\u2019s worked in the lower leagues and really earned his reputation through the style of rugby that he plays.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got a high rugby IQ and I like the way that his previous teams have played and he will fit the mould for how I want my forwards to play.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Greenwood, Haggerty said: \u201cI did a lot of homework in regards to the staff at Bradford and I had nothing but good feedback on Lee, particularly from Brian Noble. A lot of that is around his rugby IQ and his delivery to the players and what he likes and what he believes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Lee can fully understand how I want to play and put his own stamp on it and look after his own department, I think he\u2019ll be a really good acquisition moving forward, especially as a full-time assistant coach.\u201d<\/p>\n
