One of the standout stars for Australia has discussed the prospects of him making a move to Super League with playmaker Cam Munster admitting that he\u2019d \u2018love to come over\u2019.<\/p>\n

If or when that happens remains to be seen but the fact that stars the level of Munster are so willing to consider a Super League switch so publicly is testament to the competition in England.<\/p>\n

Munster made those comments as part of an extended post-match interview on BBC Sport following Australia\u2019s 26-6 win over England<\/a> in the first Test of the Ashes.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne Storm general created Angus Crichton\u2019s second try but it was full-back Reece Walsh who stole the show<\/a>, however, Munster was keen to pay praise to hosts England.<\/p>\n

Assessing the game, he said: \u201cAt times, England played some good footy, I just think we scrambled really well on defence, there was a couple of times they made some dints, especially on 5th tackle. 9 times out of 10 England probably execute and it could have been a different score at half time.\u201d<\/p>\n

He even went as far to claim Australia were \u2018pretty lucky\u2019 and even \u2018scratchy\u2019, an admission that will strike fear into the England team.<\/p>\n

Cam Munster open to Super League move<\/p>\n

It could well be that Munster is striking fear into Super League defences soon with the 31-year-old admitting that he loves England and would be interested in a switch from the NRL.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love England, the only thing about England I don\u2019t like is the traffic,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe came to the NFL and you can just see how England love their sport. I watch the Super League a lot and I feel like the game\u2019s growing even more, and the talent that\u2019s coming to Australia in the NRL, they\u2019re just getting better and better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Munster also name-checked Championship side London Broncos<\/a> who are now heavily backed by Australians with businessman Grant Weschel and rugby league icon Darren Lockyer both co-owners of the club.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne half said: \u201cI love London, obviously it\u2019s a bit unfortunate that the London Broncos couldn\u2019t get in the Super League this year, but I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll be knocking down the door. This reminds me so much of Melbourne.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are so many restaurants, some bougie places around, so much shopping, so yeah, I love my time here, but obviously we\u2019ll go to Liverpool next week and enjoy the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked if he\u2019s consider a move to England, he said:\u00a0\u201cIf I got the opportunity to. I love the way the English go about their footy, I love the grind, I love running obviously into the big boys, I get flogged all the time, but I just love that contact and the competitiveness.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe footy\u2019s getting better and better every time I come and watch these English players play, it\u2019s a great spectacle over here in England, and look, I\u2019d love to come over here and play, but at the same time there\u2019s some big boys out there.\u201d<\/p>\n
