Coronation Street<\/a> star Sally Carman<\/a> celebrated a milestone birthday earlier this year, and fans were shocked to discover her real age.<\/p>\n The Abi Webster<\/a> star took to Instagram<\/a> to share photos from her special day, revealing in the hashtags that she had been \u2018spoilt rotten\u2019 for her 50th birthday.<\/p>\n Sally shared a variety of snaps, including some with co-star and real-life husband<\/a> Joe Duttine<\/a>, who plays Tim Metcalfe<\/a> in the ITV soap.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, she enjoyed drinks with friends, including DS Lisa Swain star Vicky Myers.<\/p>\n \u2018You deserve the world! Happy birthday,\u2019 Vicky commented on the post, adding, \u2018Love you,\u2019 with a hand heart emoji.<\/p>\n Sally Webster actress Sally Dynevor was also quick to share the love, writing, \u2018stunning\u2019, while Claire Sweeney, who plays Cassie Plummer, left a series of love heart emojis.<\/p>\n Alongside well wishes, fans left comments revealing their shock at Sally\u2019s real age.<\/p>\n \u201950?! My goodness I thought you were only just in your 40s! You look amazing!\u2019 One fan wrote.<\/p>\n \u201950??? No way! Share your secrets.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Sally has had a busy year so far, with her cobbles alter ego Abi having been involved in some enormous storylines.<\/p>\n In January, Abi was left traumatised when she found teenager Mason Radcliffe bleeding from a stab wound, and his subsequent death<\/a> had a devastating effect on her mental health.<\/p>\n With the attack having reminded her of son Seb Franklin\u2019s death four years ago, Abi began suffering from PTSD, and started hallucinating Seb.<\/p>\n She received help for the disorder after agreeing to go to therapy<\/a>, but faced more trauma when husband Kevin Webster<\/a> (Michael Le Vell<\/a>) was diagnosed with testicular cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the months that followed, she was rocked by the arrival of Kevin\u2019s younger brother Carl<\/a> (Jonathan Howard<\/a>), with sparks instantly flying between them.<\/p>\n The tension boiled over in April<\/a> when Carl leaned in to kiss Abi, with the mechanic quickly pushing him away and warning him to never mention it again.<\/p>\n \t\t Abi and Carl attempted to ignore their chemistry for months<\/a>, but eventually gave into their feelings and shared a passionate kiss in the garage.<\/p>\n Kevin has since found out about the affair<\/a>, with Abi concluding that she wants to be with Carl over him. <\/p>\n However, as Abi excitedly discusses her future with Carl, she remains oblivious to the fact he really has no intention of settling down.
