Xiaomi has already launched the 17<\/a>, 17 Pro<\/a>, and 17 Pro Max<\/a>, but of course there’s still one member missing from its latest flagship family – the 17 Ultra<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear exactly when this phone will be made official, but for reference note that the 15 Ultra<\/a> (Xiaomi skipped the number 16 in order to match Apple’s product naming scheme) got official this February. Today some more details about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s cameras have been outed in China.<\/p>\n

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the 17 Ultra will come with a new 50 MP main camera that supports better in-sensor zoom across more zoom levels, in fact bringing that capability almost to the focal length of the periscope zoom camera.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, this will be a new camera too, with 200 MP resolution, telephoto macro capabilities, and multi-focal lossless zoom. The same source also says the dynamic range of these two new cameras will be very high.<\/p>\n

A previous rumor<\/a> claimed the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have four cameras in total on the rear, all of them boasting 50 MP resolution aside from the periscope telephoto. It’s still unclear whether the 17 Ultra will borrow the 17 Pro and Pro Max’s rear screen – maybe not since it needs so much more space for its bigger cameras.<\/p>\n
