A beautiful proposal scene<\/a> in Coronation Street<\/a> in September seemed to be paving the way for a happily married future for Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King<\/a>) and Lisa Swain<\/a> (Vicky Myers<\/a>). <\/p>\n

And then Lisa\u2019s wife Becky (Amy Cudden) proved to be less dead than was previously believed \u2013 and Lisa has found herself torn between the woman she planned to spend the rest of her life with and the wife she was previously grieving for.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Carla has recently been away in Ireland, Becky has been taking every opportunity<\/a> to try to reassert her place in Lisa and Betsy (Sydney Martin)\u2019s lives. As Corrie producer Kate Brooks told us,\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018She\u2019s got her sights set on getting that family back. She\u2019s clever and she\u2019s wily. She stayed dead for, like, four years! She knows what she\u2019s doing. She knows how to lie her way out of situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018She also capitalises on the fact that Lisa\u2019s still struggling to process this, and what she\u2019s offering is a glimpse of the past and the life they had together.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n

In upcoming episodes Carla is due home, and Becky wastes no time in letting her know she\u2019s been staying at number 6 while she was away. Obviously this is a huge slap in the face for Carla, to think that Becky has been staying at her home. Can Lisa convince her that nothing untoward happened?\u00a0<\/p>\n

That task is made trickier when Carla finds the video<\/a> of Lisa and Becky modelling Betsy\u2019s clothing designs. She\u2019s angry and leaves the Halloween party they\u2019re at. Becky uses this as an opportunity to get closer to Lisa, playing the song that they danced to at their wedding and reminding her of their vows.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Carla is convinced that it\u2019s only a matter of time before Becky gets her claws into Lisa, although Lisa does her best to reassure her that that\u2019s not true. As Carla warns Becky off, Becky retorts by saying that she can see in Lisa\u2019s face that she\u2019s not over her \u2013 and it\u2019s Becky that Lisa will ultimately decide she wants to be with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lisa goes to Costello (Daon Broni) to ask if there\u2019s any loophole that means she can be free to marry Carla. because, while Becky is officially dead, she\u2019s obviously still alive. <\/p>\n

Costello says it\u2019s not possible. If Lisa and Carla marry they\u2019ll be committing bigamy while Becky is still alive. He insists that the only way forward is for Lisa to persuade Becky to go back to being \u2018dead\u2019 in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lisa tells Carla what Costello said, but Carla accuses her of trying to keep her options open. The pair have a huge argument and Betsy later suggests to Lisa that Carla may be right and she could still have feelings for Becky.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With a wedding apparently off the cards and Lisa still feeling torn, Carla is right to feel insecure about Becky, as Kate Brooks told us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018Carla has every right to be wary of this woman. There loads of exciting things to come. Becky\u2019s quite a badass.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
