We\u2019ve been in the studio with them. They\u2019re freaking awesome.<\/p>\n Read more on Remember Monday<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been really productive. We\u2019ve finished one song. We were actually just discussing going to work on some more.<\/p>\n \u201cBut hopefully these songs will be out sooner than we think because I think we do want a body of work.\u201d<\/p>\n The girls decided to kick things into gear in the studio after being inspired by their idol Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, whose new record is out next month \u2014 12 months after her last one.<\/p>\n \u2018Stars of the show’<\/p>\n Lauren said: \u201cAs soon as Sabrina announced she had a new album coming out, we were like, \u2018What?!\u2019. We were spurred into action.\u201d<\/p>\n The group, who will perform at Latitude Festival in Suffolk<\/a> today ahead of a nationwide tour in the autumn<\/a>, have also recently been working with two stroppy divas \u2014 a pair of Shetland ponies.<\/p>\n The cute animals make cameos in the Happier music video, which will come out on YouTube<\/a> on Sunday \u2014 but they were a nightmare on set.<\/p>\n Remember Monday star shares big update on ‘stolen’ wedding ring after Eurovision<\/p>\n Charlotte said: \u201cThe music video came really easily to us and we\u2019ve always wanted to do, like, a really girly kind of Desperate Housewives meets Barbie<\/a> world story, and we think it\u2019s really, really living up to that.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had Mr Pickles and Miss Money Penny, who are two miniature Shetland ponies. They are so cute. Extremely clever stars of the show. But they ran away during the video. They were having a diva moment.\u201d<\/p>\n Following their Eurovision performance, the girls told me they are planning a holiday in Italy<\/a> \u2014 where the jury gave the UK a maximum 12 points \u2014 and are hoping either a music newbie or Little Mix<\/a> star Jade might represent us next year.<\/p>\n Charlotte said: \u201cI think it would be really cool to have an unknown because it\u2019s such an amazing platform.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were unknown and look what it\u2019s done for us. We can\u2019t say a bad word about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Lauren added: \u201cBut Jade would be cool, too.
