{"id":231247,"date":"2025-10-29T02:37:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T02:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/231247\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T02:37:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T02:37:12","slug":"new-parking-company-take-over-management-of-ipswich-hospital-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/231247\/","title":{"rendered":"New parking company take over management of Ipswich Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Ipswich Hospital is now managed by Group Nexus who took over from Parking Eye on Monday, October 27.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  East Suffolk and North Ipswich NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) confirmed that Parking Eye would no longer be in charge of the management of the car park <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipswichstar.co.uk\/news\/25546959.new-parking-company-manage-ipswich-hospital-car-park\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">after their contract expired on Wednesday, October 22.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Since October 21, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipswichstar.co.uk\/news\/25568842.free-parking-ipswich-hospital-weekend\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">charges were frozen in all ESNEFT patient and visitor car parks<\/a>, meaning customers didn&#8217;t need to pay for their visits.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  That has now run out, and the parking charges have been reinstated, the same as before.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The hospital still offers 30 minutes free parking, the same as before.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  New payment machines have been installed at the sites.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  ESNEFT said: &#8220;There are no other changes being made.
